Many members have been asking for more information about Virtual Worlds, and with the help of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP, we’re responding.  In the near future, IMF will be hosting a meeting via PWC’s virtual real estate in Second Life.

This meeting will be formatted similarly to a normal IMF Forum, except that we’ll be sitting down with each other’s avatars rather than physically being in the same room.  We’ll still offer presentations from member companies, the group will still be limited to IMF members, and we’ll still offer the same facilitation and networking opportunities that you count on.

As we continue to work out the details, more information will be available.  In the meantime, we would be interested in getting your feedback about what you would like to learn from this meeting.  Participation will be limited to a certain extent, based on the availability of space within the PWC Second Life world, so also let us know if you would like to participate.  Registrations will be handled normally, through the IMF member portal.  A final date has not been chosen, and presenter slots are still available.
